Callahan R. Cleere, Esq., Associate Attorney
Callahan was born in New Jersey and raised in Southwest Florida. He earned a bachelor’s degree in political science, with a focus on Pre-Law, from the University of Central Florida in 2019. He later graduated from Barry University School of Law and was sworn into the Florida Bar in 2023. Callahan has called Central Florida home for over a decade.
During his time at Barry University, Callahan served as a student attorney with the Bankruptcy Clinic, providing pro bono guidance to pro se and indigent individuals navigating the complexities of bankruptcy proceedings. This experience allowed him to gain invaluable, hands-on experience assisting those facing difficult financial and emotional circumstances.
Callahan began his legal career in insurance defense, a field that initially offered him valuable experience but ultimately left him feeling disconnected from the individuals he was assisting. This realization prompted him to pursue a more meaningful path in law—one that would allow him to engage directly with clients during their most significant and often difficult life events. As a result, Callahan made a strategic transition to focus on areas of law that are deeply personal and impactful, including Estate Planning, Probate, Guardianship, and Medicaid Planning. These practice areas intersect with critical life decisions and require a combination of sophisticated legal knowledge and an empathetic understanding of each client’s unique situation. Callahan’s shift to these areas reflects his commitment to providing compassionate, client-centered legal guidance during some of life’s most challenging and vulnerable moments.
