Matt Rygh is a committed legal advocate who prioritizes integrity, clarity, and results in every case he handles.  As a Senior Partner at Barrister Law Firm, Matt focuses on criminal defense, family law, probate, and civil litigation-helping clients navigate some of life's most challenging moments.

Known for his straightforward approach and unwavering dedication, Matt takes only those cases that align with his strenghts and values. He works closely with clients to set clear goals, create personalized strategies, and maintain open, transparent communication throughout the legal process. 

Matt's path to law was inspired by personal experience. When facing a difficult time divorce and custody battle without legal representation, he successfully defended his rights and secured joint custody of his children. This life-changing moment fueled his passion for advocacy and inspired him to pursue a career in law to better serve others.

He earned his Bachelor's Degree in Business from the University of Phoenix, graduating top of his class.  He then attended Florida A&M University College of Law, where he graduated "Magna Cum Laude", ranking third in his class. While in law school, Matt also gained a lot of experience by working closely with Honorable John Antoon, a distinguished Federal Judge for the Middle District of Florida where he played an instrumental role.   

Matt brings not only legal expertise but also a wealth of life experience to his practice.  Raised in California and having studied abroad in Germany-where he bacame fluent in German-Matt is proud to serve a diverse client base.  His cultural background and global perspective allow him to connect with clients from all walks of life, approaching each case with empathy, professionalism, and understanding.
